Go-to person for all things data and analytics. A visionary, precise operator, change agent, and influencer; shaping the future of the Analytics & Insights division. Responsibilities
- As a member of the Executive Team, set and lead the vision and day to day operations of the Analytics & Insights division of 40+ stretching across our two specialty areas: Digital Measurement Solutions & Strategy and Analytics
- Responsible for financial success of the division; P&L management and execution of top and bottom line growth (including operations) against defined targets, collaboration on budgeting and forecasting
- Responsible for setting quarterly division goals using our OST (Objectives, Strategies, Tactics) framework. Includes close coordination with stakeholders from other divisions to ensure alignment at the highest level
- Partner with the business development team to identify, qualify, scope and close opportunities. In addition, you will revamp the approach to BD for the Analytics & Insights Team… from the story we tell, to the materials we utilize, to the packages we create and sell
- Own divisional resourcing needs to ensure appropriate client alignment while managing against aggressive growth goals and margin expectations
- You will play a vital role in recruiting — everything from helping shape job descriptions and interview materials through interviews and final approvals on candidates
- Work closely with divisional leadership to drive professional growth, foster team collaboration, and inspire innovation among them and their account teams
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are constantly met and are congruent with company mission and vision. Serve as executive sponsor on several key accounts
- Identify inefficiencies in our processes and enable the team to scale through increased adoption of technology, reduction of waste, and improved coordination with other divisions
- Forecast changes in our industry and develop specific business requirements to ensure future competitive advantages that aim to position Seer as a thought leader in the industry
- Serve on the Executive team; serve as an exemplary steward of our mission and values as you lead and build relationships & contribute to crafting the strategic direction, investments and goals across the entire agency
About You
- You’re a builder & have demonstrated success of building, growing and scaling an analytics team of at least 40+ members in a digital agency environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading a $10MM+ operation with demonstrated ownership on driving strong financial metrics (ie: Revenue, Sales, Revenue/Headcount, Labor/Revenue, Margins, Net Income, COGS) and knowing the levers required to maintain a strong financial position
- You are no stranger to leading new business opportunities; you shine at the opportunity to identify, cross and up-sell our prospects and clients by articulating our value and business impact
- You have demonstrated success in driving both strong client retention of 85%+ as well as organic growth of 20%+ across a client portfolio
- You’re a communication chameleon who has perfected tailoring your approach to your audience. Whether you’re pitching a C-level Exec or getting into the weeds of Looker with an intern, you’re able to effectively communicate and present the value of complex technical solutions and strategies
- You have the consultative & technical chops to guide your team and clients in solving business problems through data & analysis –from knowing what questions to ask, to identifying tools across tech stacks, to what data sources to integrate (from analytics to organic to paid to 3rd party sources and CRMs like Salesforce) and how to visualize a story through data are challenges that you thrive on
- Success cultivating high performing teams while fostering a diverse, inclusive, and trusting environment. You know how to find, grow, and keep exceptional talent in a highly competitive and relationship-driven, niche market and have a proven track record of driving high team retention
- You enjoy thought leadership, presenting at conferences, and can build a culture of content creation that will allow our company to remain one of the top educators in the space
